2Before you apply: keep these ready

Keep these ready before you start. It takes about 15–20 minutes.

  • Your own email address and mobile number (the email becomes your login ID).
  • Your identity document (e.g. Aadhaar) and its number.
  • Your previous marksheet (board, passing year, roll number, marks).
  • A recent passport-size photo and your signature on white paper, scanned or photographed clearly.
  • Other documents your course needs (shown after you choose the course), e.g. caste certificate.

Making good scans with a phone

  • Put the paper on a flat surface in good light; avoid shadows and blur. All four corners must be visible.
  • Save as JPG or PDF. Each document shows its allowed file types and maximum size; if a file is too big, use a free photo-compress app or take the photo at a lower resolution.
Not sure which course? Open Councils in the website menu, choose a council and look at its courses. The Apply button there opens the form with that council already chosen.
Check the course's Eligibility (age and qualification) on the Courses page before applying.
